Paris, again?

28/01/2013

Bonjour mes amis!

Happy Monday!  It is a Happy Day!  Two special people in my life are celebrating Birthdays today...my Daughter-in-Love, and a very dear, long time, Friend in Dallas!  I'm wishing them each a very Special Day today!

Last week, I continued to show you our Escapades with our Children while they were here over the Christmas and New Years Holidays.  How about some more?  Yes, there was more time in Paris.  Let me show you...

Ms. Emerald was determined that we visit a Living Wall she read about on the Internet.  It's just down the street from the Eiffel Tower, so of course, we had to go there...

Me and my Girls!

Isn't this cool?  Can't wait to see it in the Spring!

Then, we went to the Rodin Museum.  I've shown you this before (go HERE if you want to look back...), but I'll show you a few new shots...

The Burghers of Calais!

These are my Four...they couldn't keep up with their Parents!
...and then we made our way to the Champs-Élysées, one of the most Famous streets in the World...

Wish I had a lamppost like this!

Somehow, Dr. J kept getting ahead of us...crossing at corners and leaving us all to catch up...

There were many little Christmas market Stands, and it was VERY CROWDED...

Dr. J bought some Hot Chestnuts, since none of us had ever tried them, and we always hear "Chestnuts roasting on an Open Fire..." sung at Christmas.  None of us particularly cared for them though...

You'll have to put up with some pictures of Christmas lights and decorations for a minute or two...but they were quite pretty...

My Favorite!

My girls having fun at Louis Vuitton!

...and then we went to the Arc De Triomphe, a beautiful structure that honors those that died for France in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars...

...and climbed the stairs for the views from the top...

...and Dr. J got to have a lot of fun with his Camera...

...and then we got to stop in a very nice Restaurant,

Un Dimanche à Paris - L'art de vivre autour du chocolat

Translated, the Restaurant name was, A Sunday in Paris...

We had a nice, relaxed meal before we headed to the Train to go back to Orléans.

Thanks for spending some time with me today.  Now, I've shown you some of the hotspots in Paris, but there's one more to view yet...Versailles!  Another day...

Have a "Jewel" of a new week!
Jan
