Bonjour mes amis!

Now, where was I?

The month of June has been a blur for me!  I started the Month in Rome, Italy with Friends,
then traveled to Chicago, Illinois for my Nephew's Wedding,
and then came back to Orléans, France with my Dad and played "tour guide"!

I'm on a short respite...

Until tomorrow, that is, when our next set of guests arrive for a long weekend...from The Netherlands!

How about today I just share some "take me away" pictures from the Brittany Region of France?

This was one of our short stops with Jewelius' Grandparents in April.  I just love the Villages in France!

And, I really want to get back to showing you more of my travels and sharing recipes, and fun, helpful stuff.  I'll try to be here tomorrow, too, but look for me regularly again next week!

Goin' to the Chapel...for a Wedding in the Windy City!

Bonjour mes amis!

I know I've been M.I.A.!

I'm sorry!  I never told you that I'd be M.I.A. for a little bit.

I really hoped to post...

But, I couldn't help myself...

I was spending time with Family...in the Windy City of Chicago, Illinois!

We went to the Chapel...

My Nephew got married last weekend, and I had the great privilege of traveling to Chicago to celebrate with everyone.  It was a beautiful Wedding, with many beautiful details.  My Nephew and his Bride dated FOREVER!  I'm so glad they finally got "hitched"!

My Sister and her Husband looked so Awesome!

And Ms. Sapphire got to join me there, and spent time with my Nieces, who just so happened to be two of the Bridesmaids!  Aren't they all gorgeous?

And, take a look at the dashing little Ring Bearer!

The Chapel was beautiful...like so many of the old Churches I see here in France!

Ms. Sapphire and I had many pictures taken together...

And here's my immediate Family that was able to be present...

As usual, I enjoyed photographing some of the details!  So pretty!

My Nieces gave me the special family hand wave at the Reception, so I moved in for a close-up!

I'm so glad we got a shot of my Mom and Sisters and Me, with our Cousin from Memphis!

Of course, I'm going to end this post with the Bride and Groom!  Afterall, they were the Stars of the Day!  Congratulations, Josh and Lauren!

So in Love...hmmmmm!

I'm back in France now, but my Dad is visiting with us for a week, so I'm afraid I'll still be popping in randomly with Posts.  I do appreciate every single time you come to visit with Me!

Sneak Peak...Roman Holiday!

Bonjour mes amis!

You may or may not have noticed that I didn't make a Blog Post yesterday.  Well, that's because, I went into Paris on the train yesterday (yup, I didn't offer to drive...I don't like to do that in Paris)!  I met up with some Dallas friends (the same ones we went to Rome with last weekend), and now they are here with us in Orléans for the weekend.

Since I really can't take the time out of their visit to do a regular blog post, I thought I'd share a little "sneak peak" from last weekend's time in Rome...

Bonjour mes amis!

I mentioned yesterday that we made another trip to...

Saint Malo, France!

with Jewelius' Grandparents.  We had a wonderful visit, and I'd just like to share some more photos from that little vacation...

First, I realize that I didn't show you the outside of the wonderful Bed and Breakfast Property where we stayed.  This is the Owner's Home...

These next two shots are where we stayed!  They had beautifully renovated this 17th Century building!

As I told you yesterday, it was an awesome place to stay!

And, this is where I spent my Birthday this year, and with these dear People!

Yes, we headed to Mont St. Michel...and hiked our way to the top!

You had to know that I'd find some old doors with awesome hardware along the way, right?

Whoops!  Well, this awesome ironwork was repeated three times on this Old Door!  Too cool!

So, I spotted some Fleur-de-Lis along the way, too!

We're heading back down now, but there's still some views along the way!

And the Spring Blooms on the Trees were just gorgeous!

This guy had a great view from the Top!

Can you see how far away from Mont St. Michel we are?  And yet...the place is HUGE within the landscape!

I don't think we'll get back to Mont St. Michel before our return to the United States, but we sure have some wonderful memories to take with us.

Well, I have a sick "baby" at home today...praying he feels better soon so we can get out there and do more site-seeing in beautiful France!
