Too late for Notre Dame!

04/12/2012

Bonjour mes amis!

Merry Christmas to each one of you!  I hope you are stress-free and enjoying the...

Wonder of this Beautiful Season!

Today, I'm going to continue to tell you about a day in Paris I enjoyed last month.  After an Exhilarating and Exhausting Day at the Louvre with Jewelius and my Parents, we hustled to get to the Metro...

...and then we paused to enjoy this...

Do you know how awesome this Music sounded in the Subway???  What an awesome Orchestral Group.  We enjoyed it very much...and yes we did tip them!

Once we got out in the fresh air, we hustled our way to Notre Dame...
(after asking directions, of course, because this chick was disoriented once we emerged from the Metro Station...)

After pausing for a few pictures, we discovered that they were just closing the Cathedral...what?  You can always get into Cathedrals, right?  Well, it was a special Holiday time for the School Children, so the Cathedral was closing, and would be re-opening an hour later, but only for School Children...bummer!  Now my parents wouldn't get to see the inside, or get to climb the stairs to the tower!  So, we took more pictures and relaxed for a while...

Check out the Gargoyle!

The Hôtel de Ville, just down the street!

Awesome Sky!

Time to go find a place for dinner...

Ah!  The View!

...and we found a nice little Brasserie, with a table by the window!

I had Duck!  Isn't the presentation beautiful!

Jewelius and his Grandpa...enjoying...
It certainly has been fun sharing all our adventures with you.  Thanks for stopping by...

See you tomorrow!  Until then, have a "Jewel" of a day!
Jan
