A new perspective on Combleux!

7/8/2016

Bonjour mes amis!

Ah France!  The country of gorgeous hydrangeas in the Summer!

Today, I'm going to take you back to Combleux.  We've been there a couple times recently, but it's such a beautiful village, so we have to show everyone, and this time, we were able to discover some new views, too!

Besides, Ms. Emerald hadn't been there yet!

Finally, paths were dry enough to wander, so we did!

It's such a pretty setting right along the canal and Loire River.

Along the river side, Ms. Emerald even spotted a busy little river rat!  We watched him for a while, but...

I prefer dreaming about living in one of these lovely homes!

Dr. J reminded me that living along the river would mean that there would always be strangers walking around enjoying the views too.  Well, that's true, but the sacrifice might be worth it!

Ms. Emerald took a few pictures of us on one of the bridges!

Such pretty views!

Do you see those twin towers off in the distance in the center of the next photo?  That is actually the Cathedral in Orléans!

We wandered a new path along the canal and discovered a Church...with a rooster on the steeple...

And a pretty garden area...

And this concludes our final visit to Combleux, France...

But, I have more fun in store to show you...so please do come back!
See you soon!
Jan
