Bonjour mes amis!

I hope you enjoyed a nice weekend!  Ours was nice and relaxed.  Last night, we had a good downpour, so it's been a slower, dark start this morning...

First, some housecleaning...
It seems that my hubby wasn't 100% sold on my pet name for him as Mr. Jewel.  He has pleaded requested that he get a cooler name than Mr. Jewel.  I have tried to explain to him that the whole theme name of my blog must fit together, but he insists that what he has come up with is quite accurate...

Now, let me share a few things with you from our weekend...

We drove about an hour northeast of Orléans to Montargis on Saturday.  It is a charming city of canals and bridges.

For today, I will just share some of the beautiful bridge and canal pictures...

They had little row boats tethered in areas of the canal, dripping with all these pretty flowers!

I really liked the turret house shown right in the center of this picture!
